Airtel Offering Free Talktime and Data Benefit to Subscribers Airtel in its release has announced that mobile customers in the affected districts will get free credit of talk time along with 100MB to 5GB data in their accounts with extended validity to ensure that they remain connected with their loved ones and can stay online. For Postpaid customers the bill payment dates have been extended. Airtel’s aim with this move is to provide relief to its customers so that they don’t have to worry about connectivity. The areas of North Eastern India, majorly Assam have been badly afflicted by floods, which has led to a lot of people to migrate from their places. In such a situation, the subscribers are likely to want to stay in touch with their relatives, and Airtel will help the customers in doing so.
