The iQOO 8 is one of the upcoming smartphones that is hitting the tech headlines quite frequently. This smartphone is all set to go official in China on August 17 alongside the Pro model. As we are nearing the launch of this smartphone, the company is officially teasing both these models spilling the beans on some specifications. Notably, there will be two smartphones - iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro. The Pro variant is said to arrive with BMW M Sport colorway. Confirming the same, the company teased the design of the device with the BMW M Sport livery. Now, fresh information regarding these upcoming smartphones has emerged online.
iQOO 8 120W Fast Charging
The latest teaser of the iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro revealed by the company on Weibo hints that both smartphones will arrive with 120W fast charging support. The Pro model is likely to support 50W wireless fast charging as well as 10W reverse wireless charging. For the uninitiated, the iQOO 7 series models were launched with 120W fast charging in China but the Indian variants have 66W fast charging support.
iQOO 8 Expected Specifications
From the existing reports, the iQOO 8 series smartphones are expected to be launched with a Samsung E5 display with a 2K resolution. Under the hood, these smartphones are likely to use an octa-core flagship Snapdragon 888+ chipset along with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage space. Talking about the camera department, the iQOO 8 Pro is speculated to feature a 50 MP primary camera sensor accompanied by a 48 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It is believed to flaunt a triple-camera setup but the tertiary sensor details are not known for now. Also, the iQOO 8 PRo’s BMW M Sport colorway is seen clearly with an iconic tri-color strip at its rear.
iQOO 8 Series India Launch And Price Details
Going by the leaked details the iQOO 8 Pro is said to be priced at CNY 5,299 (Rs 60,700 approximately) for the variant with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space. It has been hinted by a tipster that the iQOO 8 could be launched in India soon as the vanilla model of the Indian variant was spotted in the IMEI certification database.
